Computing assessments are provided for individuals, departments and projects as needed. An IT representative will work closely with the contact to ensure compatibility needs are met. We also work closely with the UTHSC Purchasing Department to negotiate and execute hardware contracts for use by the UTHSC campus.
The Customer Technology Support team deploys a standard, comprehensive image to each Windows and Mac device purchased by the university. The computer is then set up in the customer’s workspace by Customer Technology Support technicians. They will also install any other UTHSC owned software that is necessary to perform the users’ duties.
Customer Support provides computing information, diagnostics & repair, and configuration & setup for all computing hardware & software including network connections and printing.
Desktop support encompasses both the set up and maintenance of all UTHSC-owned computers. Both hardware and software are included.
