The ITS department offers Sophos Antivirus as a standard and requirement for all university owned Windows and Macintosh machines. This software monitors computer systems for malware and cleans or deletes the software when detected.

This service is available to UTHSC faculty, staff, and students.
Sophos should be available all hours of the day. If Sophos is unavailable then all efforts will be made to re-establish service and communicate with the campus.
In order to use the software computers must be running at least 10.6 on a Macintosh and Windows XP on a Windows machine.
